Job summary
Warren County Schools Maintenance in Front Royal, Virginia is seeking a qualified Maintenance Journeyman with electrical experience to join our facilities team.
The employee must possess and maintain a Virginia Journeyman Electrician License or Master Electrician License, and perform installation, inspection, troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance of electrical systems in division facilities.
This is a full-time position with salary range $35,541–$68,271 and benefits.
Qualifications

Responsibilities

Electrical Qualifications and Requirements
The Maintenance Journeyman assigned to electrical work must possess and maintain a valid Virginia Journeyman Electrician License or Master Electrician License issued by the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation (DPOR). The employee must demonstrate knowledge and experience in the installation, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, wiring, lighting, and related components in accordance with applicable electrical codes and safety standards. Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, identifying and correcting electrical hazards, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems throughout division facilities. The employee must maintain all required licensure and complete applicable continuing education requirements throughout employment.
