Job Description

The Maintenance Janitor is responsible for maintaining the building's appearance both internally and externally through housekeeping, inspection, preventative maintenance, and cleaning. This includes hazardous waste removal in compliance with regulations and ensuring the availability of cleaning supplies and PPE.

Shift

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Additional Information

This position may be eligible for bonuses based on performance. The role involves contact with employees, operating heavy machinery, and access to sensitive information, requiring a criminal history review for safety and security reasons.

Responsibilities

• Follow cleaning schedules for production areas.
• Operate floor scrubbers and perform minor maintenance.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the plant and outside property.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery.
• Manage inventory of supplies and ensure restrooms are stocked.
• Assist with hazardous waste handling, inspections, and disposal.
• Participate in safety inspections and committees.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legal authorization to work without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in manufacturing or distribution facilities.
• Experience operating mobile power equipment.
• Maintenance experience with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems.
