Job summary

OBE seeks a Stock Clerk to support production by accurately managing inventory, moving materials through the plant, and ensuring efficient flow of goods. The role requires attention to detail, data accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.

You will perform cycle counts, operate forklifts, maintain ERP records, and deliver materials to production lines. The position offers 12-hour shifts and opportunities for growth within a global manufacturing company.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ year experience in warehousing, inventory, or material handling preferred.
  • Basic computer skills; ERP experience a plus.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand long periods.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
  • Strong organization and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Inventory Control: maintain counts, perform cycle counts, support inventories, update ERP/warehouse systems, monitor low stock.
  • Material Handling: stage materials, receive and inspect shipments, operate forklifts, ensure proper labeling, storage, and FIFO.
  • Documentation & Data Entry: record receipts/adjustments/issues, maintain logs, prepare labels and shipping docs.
  • Production Support: deliver materials promptly to designated lines.
  • Be available to work 12 hour shifts.

The Stock Clerk supports production by accurately managing inventory, moving materials throughout the plant, and ensuring efficient flow of goods. The role requires strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast paced industrial environment.

What you get to do in Maintenance:

  • Inventory Control: Maintain accurate counts of materials and finished goods; perform cycle counts; support physical inventories; update ERP/warehouse systems; monitor and report low stock.
  • Material Handling: Stage materials for production; receive and inspect shipments; operate forklifts/pallet jacks; ensure proper labeling, storage, and FIFO rotation.
  • Documentation & Data Entry: Record receipts, adjustments, and issues; maintain logs and inventory records; prepare labels, pick lists, and shipping documents.
  • Production Support: Deliver materials promptly to designated lines.
  • Be available to work 12 hour shifts.

What we're looking for:
