Job summary

Lactalis American Group in Nampa, ID, is seeking a Maintenance Inventory Control Clerk to manage inventory levels, coordinate with vendors, and support maintenance operations within a dairy manufacturing setting.

The role emphasizes accurate parts management, PO accuracy, and collaboration with the maintenance team to ensure production efficiency and compliance with GMP. Extended hours may be required to meet project needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Associate degree in a related field preferred.
• 1+ years related experience required.
• Familiarity with maintenance materials and parts preferred.
• Maintenance technician experience in a food manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Routinely update parts information and review minimum/maximums to optimize inventory levels.
• Monitor routine and critical spare part usage and inventory; reorder stocked inventory.
• Review PO’s for price accuracy and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
• Determine obsolete inventory with maintenance managers and dispose appropriately.
• Ensure on-time delivery and proper storage of parts; coordinate with service providers for repairs.
• Assist with purchasing of non-inventory related items.
• Maintain storeroom cleanliness and update inventory sign-out/back-up sheets.
• Escalate issues to the Assistant Maintenance Manager as needed.
