Carpenter Technology Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Intern to work hands-on with the maintenance team, assisting maintenance, engineering and production in a lean manufacturing setting. This individual will be able to apply hands on technical application in maintenance related fields. Responsibilities will be working hands on with maintenance craftsmen to utilize their technical training in an industrial application. Projects include but not limited to machining mechanical components for in-house rebuilds to support maintenance, rebuilding components for the area maintenance departments, and repairing/rebuilding cylinders. Application of safety and maintenance procedures will be required.
