Job summary

Grande is seeking a technically adept Maintenance Instrumentation Specialist to ensure reliability and efficiency of instrumentation systems. You will support Operations, Engineering and Maintenance teams on System Control, Information and Electrical systems, install and troubleshoot instrumentation, and train staff in Studio 5000, AVEVA, and other platforms.

You will require an associate degree or better in Electrical/related field, at least five years of maintenance experience, and strong

Qualifications

  • Two year/Associate Degree in Electrical or related field required; equivalent experience considered.
  • Minimum of five years related maintenance experience required.
  • Strong PLC programming and HMI programming abilities; experience with AC drive fundamentals, servo drives.
  • Industrial wiring knowledge including 480V systems, MCC, MCC, Ethernet networks.
  • Industrial computer/network knowledge (Ethernet, switches) and data communication.
  • Experience with data protocols (ControlNet, DeviceNet, Devicenet, serial comms).
  • Microsoft VBA programming, basic computer programming knowledge.
  • Project management skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Advanced electrical concepts and machine control wiring experience.
  • Mechanical knowledge for drive belts, guards, alignments; pneumatics/hydraulics knowledge.
  • Working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC systems.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and troubleshoot instrumentation and control systems across facilities.
  • Install, service, and calibrate instrumentation equipment.
  • Train and mentor Operations and Maintenance staff on systems.
  • Collaborate with Engineering for system improvements and projects.
  • Provide software and hardware support for Studio 5000, AVEVA, and related systems.

Job Summary

Grande is searching for a technically adept and adaptable candidate for our available role of Maintenance Instrumentation Specialist. In this position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our instrumentation systems, providing facility-specific support to Operations, Engineering and Maintenance Associates (employees) on System Control's, Information, and Electrical systems. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various instrumentation and control systems as well as training, mentoring, and consultation in Studio 5000, AVEVA, and others. Your expertise will help us maintain high standards of safety, quality, and performance; apply today to support the manufacturing efforts of “The Finest Italian Cheeses That Money Can Buy”.

Shift: Nights (4:00PM-4:00AM)

What you need to be considered for the role:

  • 2 Year / Associate Degree in an Electrical or other related technical field required. An equivalent level of experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of five (5) years related Maintenance experience required.
  • Advanced experience and comprehensive knowledge of:
  • PLC programming
  • HMI programming AC Drive Fundamentals (configuration, programming, troubleshooting, Servo Drives)
  • Industrial Wiring Knowledge (conduits, 480v systems, distribution, MCC, MCP, Ethernet networks, Arc Flash, control panels)
  • Industrial Computer Knowledge (Ethernet, network switches)
  • Industrial Network Knowledge (Data highway, Ethernet, Controlnet, Devicenet, serial communication)
  • Computer Programming Knowledge (Microsoft VBA, Basic)
  • Project management skills and experience.
  • Advanced math and problem solving skills.
  • Advanced electrical concepts (demonstrated knowledge of control wiring, programming and operation of various control panels, transducers, machines, etc.).
  • Intermediate mechanical knowledge (machine guarding, drive belt installation & alignment, seal replacements, etc.).
  • Advanced pneumatic & hydraulic knowledge (replace and repair; check valves; filter assembly, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC.
