Job summary

INEOS Olefins & Polymers USA is seeking a Maintenance I&E Technician for its Chocolate Bayou facility near Alvin, Texas. The role focuses on safe, reliable operation of process plants, performing planned maintenance and contributing improvement ideas.

Candidate must have instrumentation experience in petrochemical/refining sectors, a TWIC card, and a technical degree or ISA CCST certification. Join a team dedicated to safety, efficiency, and environmental performance.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 5 years full-time experience in process instrumentation in petrochemical/refinery/pulp and paper or related industry, or 2-year technical degree with ISA CCST or equivalent.
Must be able to obtain a TWIC card.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, repair and adjust plant critical equipment (motors, circuits, valves, analyzers).
Calibrate instrument/analyzers to desired range using test equipment and standards.
Troubleshoot motor circuits and repair up to 5 KV.
Provide field instrumentation support for process equipment and systems (pneumatic, hydraulic, electro-mechanical, electronic, SCADA/LAN).
Develop work plans for installation, calibration, inspection, troubleshooting to minimize production impact.
