Job summary

INEOS Olefins & Polymers USA is seeking a Maintenance I&E Technician for the Chocolate Bayou facility near Alvin, Texas. You will install, calibrate, repair and troubleshoot plant instrumentation and control systems to ensure safe, reliable operation.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years in process instrumentation (petrochemical/refining) or an Associate degree with appropriate certification, and must be able to obtain a TWIC card. A commitment to safety and housekeeping is essential.

Qualifications

Five or more years of full-time instrumentation experience in petrochemical/refining or related industries.
Capable of calibrating instruments and analyzers to specifications.
Ability to troubleshoot electrical and electronic control systems up to 5 KV.
Experience with field instrumentation and SCADA-integrated systems.
Must be able to acquire a TWIC card.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot and repair plant instrumentation and control equipment.
Provide field instrumentation support across motors, valves and analyzers.
Develop work plans to minimize production impact and improve reliability.
Maintain calibration records using PCs or mainframe systems.
Collaborate with team members and other departments on project status and safety.
