Ecolab is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic I I I - Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) to join our Fresno, TX team. Responsibilities include repairing and installing electrical systems in industrial machinery and performing preventative maintenance.

Ensure data accuracy in CMMS and coordinate with Reliability if needed. The role focuses on troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance of process control instrumentation, with a 4:10 work week and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of I&E experience in the oil & gas, or chemical manufacturing industry.
• 4 years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment.
• 4 years of experience in repair and troubleshooting methods of rotating equipment.
• 4 years of experience with tools, procedures, and methods utilized in an industrial maintenance environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and calibrate electrical systems and instrumentation in industrial machinery.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic, electronic, analog, and digital process control instrumentation.
• Maintain documentation and data in CMMS per site requirements.
• Follow safety policies and ensure housekeeping in I&E shop and field locations.
• Disassemble equipment to identify defects and perform repairs or modifications.

Ecolab is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic I I I - Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) to join our team in Fresno, TX . As a Maintenance Mechanic III, you will repair and install electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components in industrial machinery and perform preventative maintenance.

How You'll Make an Impact:

• Cut, bend, and install tubing needed for the proper installation of the instrumentation device.
• Set controls to regulate factors, such as current flow, timing cycle, pressure or vacuum, or temperature according to specifications.
• Actively work on troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance of pneumatic, electronic, analog, and digital process control instrumentation.
• Troubleshoot/r epair p redictive program instrumentation and document instrumentation repair history in the CMMS system as required by site specific documentation.
• Perform Basic DCS Controls
• Ensure replacement spare parts are available or replaced once installed.
• Perform assignments in the layout, installation, repair, alteration, and maintenance of a wide variety of complex electrical equipment such as process controls, lighting systems, motor controls systems, hi and low voltage electrical.
• Maintain a strong focus on housekeeping in I&E shop and at job sites in the field
• Disassemble instruments or devices as needed to identify defects or failures.
• Make repairs & modifications to equipment and facilities as scheduled through the work order system
• Responsible for completing all paperwork assigned and coordinating with the Reliability Supervisor to ensure data is correct and recorded

Position Details:

• Plant Location: Fresno, TX
• Work Week & Shift: 6:30am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday (4 10s), possible OT, callouts
• Compensation: $40/hr

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Working in a chemical processing plant with variable temperatures, odors, noise levels, elevated heights, and/or confined spaces.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Formal vocational training in plant maintenance activities with emphasis on maintenance/instrumentation
• Experience tak ing apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts
• Previous experience working as a Millwright
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills with attention to detail. Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
• NFPA-70E trained and qualified
• PLC Based Programming
• Experience working in a Lean Manufacturing e nvironment
