Ecolab is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic III – Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) to join our Fresno, TX team. The role focuses on repairing and installing electrical systems in industrial machinery, with emphasis on troubleshooting and maintaining instrumentation controls.

Work schedule is 6:30am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday (4 10s) with possible OT. Compensation is $40/hour, with comprehensive benefits and a strong safety culture at a global leader in sustainability.

Qualificações

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of I&E experience in oil & gas or chemical manufacturing.
• 4 years in industrial maintenance environment.
• 4 years experience in repair and troubleshooting of rotating equipment.
• 4 years experience with tools and methods in industrial maintenance.

Ecolab is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic III – Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) to join our team in Fresno, TX. As a Maintenance Mechanic III, you will repair and install electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components in industrial machinery and perform preventative maintenance.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Cut, bend, and install tubing needed for the proper installation of the instrumentation device.
• Set controls to regulate factors, such as current flow, timing cycle, pressure or vacuum, or temperature according to specifications.
• Actively work on troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance of pneumatic, electronic, analog, and digital process control instrumentation.
• Troubleshoot/repair predictive program instrumentation and document instrumentation repair history in the CMMS system as required by site specific documentation.
• Perform Basic DCS Controls
• Ensure replacement spare parts are available or replaced once installed.
• Perform assignments in the layout, installation, repair, alteration, and maintenance of a wide variety of complex electrical equipment such as process controls, lighting systems, motor controls systems, hi and low voltage electrical.
• Maintain a strong focus on housekeeping in I&E shop and at job sites in the field
• Disassemble instruments or devices as needed to identify defects or failures.
• Make repairs & modifications to equipment and facilities as scheduled through the work order system
• Responsible for completing all paperwork assigned and coordinating with the Reliability Supervisor to ensure data is correct and recorded

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of I&E experience in the oil & gas, or chemical manufacturing industry
• 4 years of experiencein an industrial maintenance environment
• 4 years of experience in repair and troubleshooting methods of rotating equipment
• 4 years of experience with tools, procedures, and methods utilized in an industrial maintenance environment.

Physical Requirements Of Position

• Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 pounds chest high
• Working in a chemical processing plant with variable temperatures, odors, noise levels, elevated heights, and/or confined spaces.
• Wearing and using a respirator under certain conditions Garyville, Fresno, Clearing, Ellwood City, Montgomery

Preferred Qualifications

• Formal vocational training in plant maintenance activities with emphasis on maintenance/instrumentation
• Experience taking apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts
• Previous experience working as a Millwright
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills with attention to detail. Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
• NFPA-70E trained and qualified
• PLC Based Programming
• Experience working in a Lean Manufacturing environment

Annual Or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $30.60 - $45.90. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
