Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years I&E experience in oil & gas, or chemical manufacturing.
  • 4 years experience in industrial maintenance.
  • 4 years experience in repair and troubleshooting methods of rotating equipment.
  • 4 years experience with tools, procedures, and methods utilized in an industrial maintenance environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Preventative Maintenance Tasks and Corrective Work Orders on electrical and instrumentation equipment.
  • Cut, bend, and install tubing for instrumentation installation.
  • Set controls to regulate current, pressure, temperature, and other factors.
  • Troubleshoot and calibrate process instrumentation and document repair history in CMMS.
  • Disassemble instruments to identify defects and make repairs/modifications as scheduled.
  • Complete paperwork and coordinate with Reliability Supervisor to ensure data accuracy.

Ecolab is seekinga Maintenance MechanicIII– Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) to join our team in Fresno, Texas. As a Maintenance I&E Technician,you will repair and install electrical systems, instrumentation, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components in industrial machinery and perform preventative maintenance.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance Tasks(PMs) and Corrective Work Orders(CMs) on a variety of electrical and instrumentation equipment including but not limited to: pressure instruments, level instruments, flow instruments, temperature instruments, pH/ORP/conductivity meters, analyzers, and actuated valves and control valves
  • Cut,bend,and install tubing needed for the proper installation of the instrumentation device.
  • Set controls to regulate factors, such as current flow, timing cycle, pressure or vacuum, or temperature according to specifications.
  • Actively work on troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance of pneumatic, electronic, analog, and digital process control instrumentation.
  • Troubleshoot/repairpredictiveprogram instrumentation and document instrumentation repair history in the CMMS system as required by site specific documentation.
  • Perform Basic DCS Controls
  • Ensure replacement spare parts are available or replaced once installed.
  • Perform assignments in the layout, installation, repair, alteration, and maintenance of a wide variety of complex electrical equipment such as process controls, lighting systems, motorcontrolssystems, hi and low voltage electrical.
  • Maintain a strong focus on housekeeping in I&Eshopand at job sites in the field
  • Disassemble instruments or devices as needed toidentifydefects or failures.
  • Make repairs & modifications to equipment and facilities as scheduled through the work order system
  • Responsible for completing all paperwork assigned and coordinating with the Reliability Supervisor to ensure data is correct and recorded
Position Details
  • Plant Location: Fresno, Texas
  • Work Week & Shift: 6:30am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday (4 10s), possible OT, callouts
  • Compensation: $43 per hour

Preferred Qualifications
  • Formal vocational training in plant maintenance activities with emphasis onmaintenance/instrumentation
  • Experiencetakingapart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts
  • Previousexperience working as a Millwright
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills with attention to detail. Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • NFPA-70E trained and qualified
  • PLC Based Programming

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay rate is $43 per hour. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
