Ecolab is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic III – Instrumentation & Electrical to join our Fresno, Texas team. The role focuses on repairing and installing electrical systems, instrumentation, and related components in industrial machinery, with emphasis on preventative maintenance and compliance.

Responsibilities include PMs/CMs across a range of instruments, calibration, trouble shooting, and maintaining detailed records in the CMMS.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of I&E experience in the oil & gas or chemical manufacturing industry.
  • 4 years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment.
  • 4 years of experience with repair and troubleshooting methods of rotating equipment.
  • 4 years of experience with tools, procedures, and methods used in an industrial maintenance environment.

Ecolab is seekinga Maintenance MechanicIII– Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) to join our team in Fresno, Texas. As a Maintenance I&E Technician,you will repair and install electrical systems, instrumentation, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components in industrial machinery and perform preventative maintenance.

HowYou’llMake an Impact:
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance Tasks(PMs) and Corrective Work Orders(CMs) on a variety of electrical and instrumentation equipment including but not limited to: pressure instruments, level instruments, flow instruments, temperature instruments, pH/ORP/conductivity meters, analyzers, and actuated valves and control valves
  • Cut,bend,and install tubing needed for the proper installation of the instrumentation device.
  • Set controls to regulate factors, such as current flow, timing cycle, pressure or vacuum, or temperature according to specifications.
  • Actively work on troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance of pneumatic, electronic, analog, and digital process control instrumentation.
  • Troubleshoot/repairpredictiveprogram instrumentation and document instrumentation repair history in the CMMS system as required by site specific documentation.
  • Perform Basic DCS Controls
  • Ensure replacement spare parts are available or replaced once installed.
  • Perform assignments in the layout, installation, repair, alteration, and maintenance of a wide variety of complex electrical equipment such as process controls, lighting systems, motorcontrolssystems, hi and low voltage electrical.
  • Maintain a strong focus on housekeeping in I&E shopand at job sites in the field
  • Disassemble instruments or devices as needed toidentifydefects or failures.
  • Make repairs & modifications to equipment and facilities as scheduled through the work order system
  • Responsible for completing all paperwork assigned and coordinating with the Reliability Supervisor to ensure data is correct and recorded
Position Details:
  • Plant Location: Fresno, Texas
  • Work Week & Shift: 6:30am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday (4 10s), possible OT, callouts
  • Compensation: $43 per hour

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of I&E experience in the oil & gas, or chemical manufacturing industry
  • 4 years of experiencein an industrial maintenance environment
  • 4years of experience in repair and troubleshooting methods of rotating equipment
  • 4yearsof experience with tools, procedures, and methodsutilizedin an industrial maintenance environment.

  • Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 pounds chest high
  • Working in a chemical processing plant with variable temperatures, odors, noise levels, elevated heights, and/or confined spaces.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Formal vocational training in plant maintenance activities with emphasis onmaintenance/instrumentation
  • Experiencetakingapart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts
  • Previousexperience working as a Millwright
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills with attention to detail. Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • NFPA-70E trained and qualified
  • PLC Based Programming
  • Experienceworkingin a LeanManufacturing environment

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:

The pay rate is $43 per hour. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
