Job summary

Ecolab, a global leader in water, hygiene and energy technologies, invites a hands-on Field Technician to join our Montgomery team. You will monitor and service air and water quality systems, perform tests, log data, and support customers in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot facility processes following procedures.
  • Test lab samples, record results, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Perform daily quality analysis on process applications.
  • Provide routine and specialized service support to customers.
  • Execute chemistry tests and log data; maintain inventories.

You will be joining a talented team thatmonitorsand maintains a variety of air and water quality systems. In thispositionyou will provide customers with problem solving support, generatinga high levelof customer satisfaction.

HowYou'llMake an Impact
  • Operate, monitor, and trouble-shoot the facility and its processesin accordance withestablished procedures
  • Perform testing on lab samples, analyze and record results and datain accordance withcompany and regulatory requirements
  • Perform dailyprocess application quality analysisusing small intricate parts
  • Provide routine and special application service support to customers
  • Execute required chemistry tests
  • Log and report data
  • Maintain product inventories
  • Provide technical support to customers
  • Troubleshoot andmaintainsystems as needed
  • Use a fluke meter to check sensitivity
  • Operate a test stand verifying air and fluid leaks
Position Details

  • Shift:Mon - Fri 2pm - 10pm
  • Compensation:20.00 / hr

Minimum Qualifications
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, or plant environment.
  • High SchoolDiploma,GEDor equivalent
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working independently in an industrial setting
  • Demonstrate mechanical aptitude
  • Previousexperience in Industrial Wastewater Treatment or Maintenance
  • Mechanical problem-solving experience (e.g.plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and/or mechanical experience)
  • Strong customer service skills; proven ability tointerfacepositively and professionally with the customer
  • Analyze readings and put data in a spreadsheet in a logical manner
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Previousexperience explainingresults of data gatherings
PhysicalRequirements of Position
  • Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 pounds chest high
  • Wearing and usinga respirator under certain conditions
  • Working in a variety of conditions including confined spaces, damp/dusty areas, and extreme temperatures
  • Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, balancing, walking, standing, climbing
  • Working indoors and outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $39,900-$59,800. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
