Job Summary/General Description:

This position is an entry-level position overseeing general maintenance on all aspects of the buildings, including furniture, floors, windows, walls, and maintenance of all material handling equipment.

Potential Schedule: Sunday - Friday 5:00 am to 1:30 pm

Pay rate: $21.00 to $26.00 per hour.

The ability to be flexible with your schedule is preferred.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

A teammate in this position must have the ability to:

1. Perform basic scheduled maintenance repair of most required MHE equipment.
2. Ensure spare parts usage, inventory, and work order actions are accurately tracked and documented according to Company policy.
3. Assist in other DC maintenance requirements such as, but not limited to:
1. Plumbing
2. Racking
3. Pallet washing
4. Maximize availability of all classes of DC batteries by managing charging cycles, battery rotation, and inspections.
5. Other duties may be assigned.

MINIMUM SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

A teammate in this position must:

1. Have 1 year of maintenance experience.
2. Have working knowledge of electric and manual hand tools.
3. Possess basic knowledge in plumbing.
4. Have electrical and heating/AC experience.
5. Have communication skills.
6. Be able to work in a team.
7. Be able to achieve results.
8. Represent McLane’s beliefs and values.
9. Be able to successfully pass a physical capabilities test, drug screen, and criminal background check.
10. Stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, grasp, and reach above the head for extended periods of time.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Works in office environments as well as warehouse and mechanical rooms and outdoors. This position may require work in hot and cold temperature extremes and exposure to dust, dirt, fumes, noise, potentially harmful chemicals, solvents, and components, and working in close proximity to other teammates
