Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for operation and maintenance of all physical plant systems. The role reports to the Superintendent of Physical Plant and the Assistant Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds and requires multi-craft skills.
You will read blueprints, coordinate with contractors, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure safety and policy compliance.
Responsible for the operation and maintenance of all physical plant systems. Reports directly to the Superintendent of Physical Plant and the Assistant Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds. This position requires a person with multi-craft skills. This position requires climbing ladders, working on rooftops, working in confined spaces and other physically demanding duties. This position requires physical mobility, manual dexterity, and ability to lift at least 70 lbs.
