Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College seeks an office administrator for the Maintenance Department. You will support the Superintendent and team, maintain records, prepare correspondence and manage office operations.
Responsibilities include filing, supply management, requisitions in Banner, PO entry, and coordinating communications with campus staff and vendors. A strong attention to detail and professional communication are essential.
Responsible for ensuring smooth operation of the Maintenance Department office by maintaining accurate records, preparing correspondence and assisting the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent as requested.
(M1) Minimum of an Associate Degree in Business and Office Technology or related area.
(M2) Minimum of 2 years’ experience in business related area.
(M3) Proficiency in an applicable word processing program.
(M4) Must be able to communicate effectively with college personnel at all levels and with the general Public.
(M5) Proficient using Microsoft Suite (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
(M6) Must have and maintain a valid MS driver’s license.
(D1) Experience in an educational environment.
(D2) Experience using Banner computer software.
(D3) Experience using a Work Order type system, such as School Dude, etc.
