Job summary

Windstar on Naples Bay is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the Chief Maintenance Engineer in keeping all club facilities safe, clean, and functional. This role blends cleaning duties with light maintenance to deliver an exceptional member and guest experience.

The ideal candidate is reliable, mechanically inclined, and detail-oriented, able to work independently or with the team. A practical, hands-on approach helps maintain a welcoming, high-standard environment across the club.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in building maintenance, housekeeping, hospitality, facilities, or a related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and quality.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, cleaning equipment, and maintenance equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Dependable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Professional appearance and commitment to outstanding member service.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning and servicing of public areas, dining rooms, offices, restrooms, locker rooms, and other club facilities.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all assigned areas to the club's high standards.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, sanitize, and polish surfaces as required.
• Restock restroom and housekeeping supplies.
• Dispose of trash and recycling in designated areas.
• Identify and report maintenance issues observed while cleaning.
• Assist in maintaining an attractive, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the property.
• Assist the Facilities Director with daily maintenance operations.
• Perform minor repairs to equipment, fixtures, and furnishings.
• Complete work orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.
• Assist with special projects, furniture moves, and event setup.
• Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
