Job summary

Brownsburg Health Care Center in Brownsburg, IN is seeking a dependable Housekeeping & Maintenance Director to uphold a safe, clean environment for residents.

You will lead day-to-day housekeeping and maintenance, support Life Safety Code compliance, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with nursing and administrative staff to meet environmental goals while fostering a respectful atmosphere for residents, staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of housekeeping or maintenance experience in healthcare, commercial, or hospitality settings preferred.
• Must have working knowledge of Life Safety Code requirements.
• Skilled at basic repairs, safety inspections and facility upkeep.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Clear and respectful communication with team members and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day housekeeping and facility maintenance tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and local guidelines.
• Follow a daily and weekly cleaning schedule to ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Support Life Safety initiatives and ensure the facility is maintained in accordance with Life Safety Code requirements (NFPA).
• Respond to emergency maintenance or cleaning needs in a timely manner.
• Work collaboratively with nursing and administrative staff to meet environmental and safety goals.
• Foster a positive, respectful environment with residents, staff, and visitors.
