Job summary

JBS USA in Green Bay, Wisconsin is seeking an industrial maintenance professional to inspect, diagnose, and repair equipment on site. You will perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities include dismantling and rebuilding gearboxes, inspecting drives and belts, and reading drawings to guide maintenance tasks. Some weekend work and shifts are required in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years industrial maintenance experience.
  • Knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings.
  • Basic math and measurement skills (standard and metric).
  • Ability to work assigned days/shifts, including some weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, operate, or test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
  • Inspect mechanical equipment to locate damage, defects, or wear.
  • Test mechanical to ensure proper functioning.
  • Dismantle machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, and hand tools, or power tools.
  • Disassemble equipment for maintenance or repair. Operate hoists, or other moving or lifting equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing other preventive maintenance.
  • Inspect mechanical components to identify problems.
  • Replace worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts.
  • Trouble shoot electrical controls and components, and repair as needed.

Responsibilities: Candidates will have the ability to either work in a setting that will allow them to perform work on electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, or welding. Work may involve setting up machinery and equipment, tearing down, and overhauling equipment such as gear boxes.

Basic Skills & Qualifications

  • Must be able to work assigned days/shifts (including some weekends)
