Job summary

Career Strategies is seeking a maintenance worker to perform apartment punch-list and make-ready tasks in Charlottesville, VA. The role includes minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and drywall repairs, fixture replacement, caulking, and preparing units for painting and cleaning vendors.

You may assist with other maintenance projects as needed. This full-time, temporary project position starts ASAP and pays $20–$24 per hour, depending on experience, with weekly pay and a standard 8am-5pm

Qualifications

• Apartment maintenance, punch, turn, handyman, remodeling, or construction experience
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks efficiently
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
• Reliable transportation and a strong attendance record
