Reports To:

Property Superintendent

Position Overview:

Perform general repairs in and around the hotel as needed.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Perform general repair and maintenance of equipment in and around the hotel under the direction of the Property Superintendent and General Manager.
• Maintain accurate records of tasks and activities using the computer maintenance software.
• Ensure all safety systems are operational.
• Respond to guestroom calls as required.
• Assist other departmental craft workers as needed.
• Participate in the Fire Alarm Response Team duties.
• Work varying schedules as required by the hospitality industry's cyclical nature and attend all scheduled training sessions and meetings.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Fluent in reading, writing, and understanding the primary language used in the workplace.
• Skills in minor electrical, plumbing, A/C, painting, wallpapering, and carpentry repairs.
• High level of accuracy and neatness.
• Ability to stand and move briskly for up to 4 hours and reach various hotel locations promptly.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch for maintenance tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly, 50 pounds frequently, and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Manual dexterity and visual acuity for operating equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:
