Insight Global is seeking a Maintenance Group Leader for a top manufacturing client. The role will lead a team of maintenance technicians to support plant operations by ensuring equipment reliability and minimizing downtime, with hands-on CNC machinery and robotics work.

The ideal candidate will drive preventative maintenance initiatives, troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to sustain production efficiency and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising teams in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair CNC machinery and Fanuc robots.
• Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage a small to medium-sized team of maintenance employees
• Oversee maintenance and repair of plant equipment and facility systems
• Perform and oversee equipment checks, testing, and evaluation of results
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and recommend solutions
• Ensure completion of preventative maintenance activities
• Maintain production schedules and uphold quality standards
• Enforce compliance with labor agreements and company policies
• Promote safety standards and maintain housekeeping practices
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams outside the immediate workgroup
• Optimize use of personnel, materials, and equipment
• Establish and execute plans to complete maintenance projects and tasks

Day-to-Day:

• Manage a small to medium-sized team of maintenance employees
• Oversee maintenance and repair of plant equipment and facility systems

• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and recommend solutions
• Ensure completion of preventative maintenance activities
• Maintain production schedules and uphold quality standards

Pay Range: $35-41/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience supervising teams in a manufacturing environment - especially skilled trades
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment, specifically CNC machinery and Fanuc robots
• Knowledge of mechanical AND electrical concepts within maintenance
• Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience with controls
• Experience supervising UAW employees
• Automotive OEM background
• Knowledge of geometric dimensioning & tolerancing
