About the Position:

This position is located at the new state veterans home in Tradition, MS. It is a third-level seasoned vocational worker role responsible for performing semi-skilled work in the alteration, maintenance, and repair of state buildings and facilities. Employees work across various trade areas including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, and mechanical repair in settings such as facilities and grounds. The role may include overseeing a maintenance crew. This position also serves as a career transition point for employees to continue within this family or transfer to the Specialty Trades and Construction Family.
