Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Maintenance Technician at the Dardanelle facility to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and conveyors. You will perform preventative maintenance, read schematics, and document system conditions while ensuring safety and compliance with Tyson policies.

The role requires the ability to work in varied temperatures and to lift tools and materials as needed. Candidates should have at least 6 months of maintenance experience, basic computer skills for

Qualifications

• 6 months of maintenance or mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer skills for logging information and daily work orders.
• Ability to learn and use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Effective communication and basic math skills required.
• Must provide own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment and assets to ensure safe operations.
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment, handling electrical, welding, fabrication, and general repairs of lines and conveyors.
• Read, interpret, and understand drawings related to processing equipment maintenance.
• Make rounds, document system conditions (temperatures, pressure, inspections), and uphold Tyson safety goals.
• Follow Tyson policies and procedures and complete required CMMS documentation.
