The Mission of the Division of the Alaska Pioneer Homes Is: "Providing elder Alaskans a home and community, celebrating life through its final breath." This position is a member of an outstanding staff and plays a vital role in providing care and support in a safe environment for up to sixty-five (65) residents.
This position manages the maintenance department which is responsible for keeping all heating, mechanical, electrical, electronic, and plumbing systems in the building functioning correctly and oversees maintenance of the grounds and all renovation contracts and contractors who do work on the building. Responsible for applying safety and health regulations and correcting unsafe conditions throughout the facility.

This job is located in the Sitka Pioneer Home, an assisted living home in the heart of downtown at 120 Katlian Street in Sitka, Alaska. Imagine working in an environment on a beautiful waterfront campus, renowned for its gorgeous and aromatic rose hedges and scenic views.
