Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson Foods will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 90 days and are limited to 3 times of employment. Pay Range: $22.35 - $31.95 (pay based on experience) + $2 attendance bonus $3 shift differential for B shift. Hours: Rotating 12 hr shift Schedules 2-2-3. 1st Shift: 5:30 am - 5:30 pm or upon completion of assigned work. B Shift: 5:30 pm - 5:30 am or upon completion of assigned work.
This position is responsible for performing troubleshooting, repairs and provide technical support for all phases of operations, including preventative maintenance functions.
Associates degree in Mechanics/Automotive or Electrical Technology preferred 1-2 years' experience in Facility Maintenance and/or Automotive Mechanic Some training in electrical principals and troubleshooting preferred.
Must be able to communicate effectively.
Computer skills. General knowledge of Microsoft Office knowledge or training preferred.
Stand/Walk: Continuously (at least 8 hours a day) Lift/Carry: Frequently (1-10 lbs.), occasionally (up to 35-50 lbs.) Grasp: Frequently (3-4 hours a day) Occasionally (1-3 hours a day); bend/stoop, squat, crawl, climb, reach above shoulder, crouch, kneel, push/pull Continuously working around moving machinery, both inside and out with changes in temperature and humidity, exposure to dust and fumes, occasionally working on a ladder at unprotected heights, around and amongst dead birds and a strong chicken odor.
