Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair plant equipment to keep production running smoothly.

You will identify parts and services needed, complete work orders on time, and operate basic hand and power tools in a cold, hot, dusty, and noisy environment. The role requires lifting and other physical duties and shifts on 1st shift in Sedalia, MO.

Qualifications

• 3 months mechanical experience or automotive/mechanical degree or training.
• Ability to lift, reach, rotate, walk, climb, bend and squat throughout the shift.
• Certain Tyson roles require background checks per policy.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, repair machinery and assets to keep production running.
• Identify parts, supplies and services needed to maintain equipment in the area.
• Complete work orders in a timely manner to reduce downtime and meet deadlines.
