Description: Maintenance, Full-Time
Reports to: Director of Facilities
Position Description: This position will perform complex maintenance and repair work to install, operate, maintain and repair specific building structure, systems and equipment to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
Hours: The normal work day is eight (8) consecutive hours per day (excluding lunch) Monday through Friday. The first shift begins at 6:00/7:00 a.m. and ends at 2:30/3:30 p.m.
Salary: Compensation per the 2022-2027 Collective Bargaining Agreement, new hire $31.06 per hour, with excellent benefits package--Benefits At A Glance
Qualifications: .High School Diploma or equivalent amount of education and experience; three or more years of direct experience OR five or more years of related experience in a specific area of building maintenance; demonstrated ability to perform work individually with a minimum of supervision; manual dexterity and physical ability to lift and carry safely a minimum of 50 pounds; ability to work from basic blueprints, shop drawings and sketches; work with outside contractors as required; welding; and ability to climb a ladder required. Preference will be given to candidates with a well-rounded maintenance background that includes electrical, HVAC, plumbing, welding, and carpentry experience.
