The position requires dependable leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage a crew through daily tasks, equipment operation, and seasonal workloads, including winter snow

Qualifications

• Professional landscape maintenance experience required.
• Crew leader or foreman experience strongly preferred.
• Experience operating commercial mowing and landscaping equipment.
• Knowledge of proper mowing, trimming, edging, and cleanup practices.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a crew and stay on schedule.
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience driving a truck and landscape trailer preferred.
• DOT medical card preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

Skinner Overlook Landscape & Design is hiring an experienced Lawn Maintenance Foreman / Crew Leader to lead a professional landscape maintenance crew.

This position is responsible for completing scheduled residential, condominium, HOA, and commercial properties efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality, safety, and professionalism.

We are looking for someone who is dependable, takes pride in their work, and has experience leading a mowing and landscape maintenance crew.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a landscape maintenance crew
• Perform and oversee commercial mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing
• Ensure properties are completed efficiently and to company standards
• Assign daily tasks and provide direction to crew members
• Maintain crew productivity and quality throughout the workday
• Operate commercial zero-turn mowers, walk-behind mowers, string trimmers, backpack blowers, and other landscape equipment
• Load, unload, and properly secure equipment
• Maintain clean and organized trucks, trailers, and equipment
• Identify and report property concerns, damages, irrigation issues, or additional work needs
• Communicate professionally with customers, property managers, and company management
• Train crew members on proper work methods, equipment operation, and safety procedures
• Assist with seasonal landscape maintenance work as needed
• Participate in snow and ice removal operations during the winter season
