Heritage Trail Correctional Facility is a minimum‑security facility in Plainfield, Indiana, with a capacity of more than 1,000 incarcerated adult males. Located on historic grounds, once home to the Indiana Boys School, the facility includes preserved red fire‑kiln brick buildings. Housing is dormitory‑style and encourages personal responsibility and collaboration. Heritage Trail provides programming that supports community involvement, skill development, and re‑entry readiness. Role Overview:
As a Maintenance Foreman, you will be responsible for the repair and preventive maintenance needs of the facility. We are a full-service maintenance team that handles a wide variety of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and grounds issues. You will be working Monday through Friday, 7.5 hours a day. In addition, you will be supervising Incarcerated Individuals when needed. We provide excellent customer service and utilize best security/safety practices. There are advancement opportunities for those who want to move into supervisory positions.
