Job summary

Ergon Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Floater to support the Magnolia Terminal and Pipeline operations. The role involves assisting the Facility Crew Chief with maintenance, housekeeping, and temporarily covering vacancies as needed.

Flexibility to work nights and weekends, learn multiple positions, and travel to other facilities is required. The position emphasizes safety and compliance while performing a variety of tasks outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write and have basic math skills.
• Must be able to complete required documentation and have computer skills.
• Must have good communication skills to interact with co-workers as well as outside parties; must be self-motivated with limited supervision.
• This position requires flexibility regarding schedule and will involve working in all types of weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general maintenance and housekeeping (landscaping, painting, cleaning, equipment).
• Assist with pipeline tasks and operate in the pipeline control room; complete daily inventory records.
• Cover vacancies and vacations by learning all facility positions as required.
• Complete required training for Magnolia facility operation; travel to other facilities as needed.
• Contribute to compliance activities and document them on approved forms; participate in drills and inspections.
• Support special projects as directed by Facility Manager or Facility Crew Chief.
