Job summary

Our Blood Institute in Tulsa, OK is seeking a dependable Maintenance & Fleet Technician to keep our facilities, grounds, and fleet vehicles safe and reliable. This hands-on role offers variety, problem solving, and visible results in daily work.

You will manage work orders, inspect and repair systems, and coordinate fleet maintenance across the organization. CDL Class B with airbrake is required; relocation bonuses and performance bonuses enhance a rewarding benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL Class B with airbrake endorsement required.
• Basic electrical, plumbing, and building maintenance knowledge.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair fleet vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update facility maintenance requests.
• Inspect facilities, grounds, and parking areas; report deficiencies.
• Inspect and replace damaged ceiling tiles; repair light fixtures.
• Troubleshoot basic electrical issues.
• Perform basic plumbing repairs.
• Conduct basic roof inspections.
• Perform and coordinate maintenance for the fleet.
• Track vehicle repairs and maintain records.
• Ensure fleet remains in safe, reliable condition.

What You'll Do

Keep our Facilities Safe & Operational

• Manage and update work orders for facility maintenance requests
• Inspect facilities, grounds, and parking areas and report deficiencies
• Inspect and replace damaged ceiling tiles as needed
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair light fixtures
• Troubleshoot basic electrical issues
• Perform basic plumbing repairs, including sinks, toilets, and drains
• Conduct basic roof inspections as needed

Keep our Fleet Road-Ready

• Perform and coordinate maintenance for the organization's fleet
• Track daily vehicle repairs, including pending and completed work
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs
• Ensure vehicles remain in safe, reliable operating condition
• Complete required vehicle inspections, including external and trailer lights
• Schedule and monitor preventive maintenance and other repairs
• Evaluate whether repairs should be completed internally or by an outside provider based on cost and effectiveness
• Recommend vehicle replacements or repairs when appropriate
• Identify and recommend qualified vendors and service providers
• Review and route vehicle maintenance and parts invoices for payment

Minimum Requirement
