Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other facility-related issues.
• Inspect equipment and machinery to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
• Maintain and repair conveyors, motors, pumps, compressors, refrigeration systems, and related equipment.
• Perform basic electrical troubleshooting involving wiring, switches, sensors, and controls.
• Use hand tools, power tools, meters, and other maintenance equipment safely.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests.
• Assist with equipment installation, relocation, repairs, and modifications.
• Complete maintenance work orders, inspection records, and preventative maintenance documentation.
• Maintain an organized inventory of maintenance parts, tools, and supplies.
• Assist with general facility repairs, including doors, lighting, walls, fixtures, and other building components.
• Maintain a clean and safe maintenance work area.
• Work closely with production and operations teams to address equipment and facility needs.
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, food safety standards, and GMP procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives designed to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.

• Mechanical, electrical troubleshooting, plumbing, and carpentry experience.
• Ability to read and follow equipment manuals, maintenance procedures, and technical instructions.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and make repairs with limited supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and reach throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift and move maintenance materials and equipment as required.
• Ability to work around machinery, production equipment, varying temperatures, and other manufacturing conditions.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Education and Experience

• Minium of high school diploma or technical training and at least two years working experience in facility maintenance; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
