Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an experienced Maintenance/Facilities Manager in the United States (Ohio, Euclid) to oversee maintenance, renovations, and compliance. The role requires coordinating contractors, optimizing utility usage, and ensuring health, safety, and environmental standards are met.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of facilities management experience, strong communication and analytical skills, and a solid grasp of IT packages.

Responsibilities

• Handle service contracts including company vehicles.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage telecommunications, heat, electricity, plumbing etc. and refurbishments and ensure they are well maintained;
• Ensure facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards;
• Oversee building projects, renovations or refurbishments;
• Responsible for handling facility emergencies as they arise;
• Manage the maintenance of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards;
• Inspect buildings' structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations;
• Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs;
• Supervise all facilities staff and external contractors performing equipment & facilities maintenance;
