Job summary

MAHLE in California is seeking a Maintenance, Facilities and Security Manager to coordinate operational activities, programs, services and the budget for manufacturing assets and facilities maintenance, including cost/benefit justification and safety compliance.

You will lead preventative maintenance, analyze efficiency issues, support plant expansion, manage spare parts, coordinate maintenance with production, and oversee environment, waste management, and facility security.

Qualifications

• College Diploma or Skilled Trades certificate of qualification preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Experienced with SAP 4/HANA.
• Knowledge of the IATF 16949 standard as applicable to the position.
• Minimum 5 years leadership experience with a strong background in Production and Preventative Maintenance.
• Working knowledge of Plastics Manufacturing Process and production tooling.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the maintenance, facilities, and security budget and programs for manufacturing assets.
• Oversee preventative maintenance and repair costs for facility equipment.
• Analyze manufacturing efficiency issues and implement corrective actions.
• Support product launches with facility requirements and service agreements.
• Manage spare parts budgets and stock levels.
• Lead and organize maintenance activities in support of Plant Operations.
• Ensure environmental and waste management controls per ISO-14001.
• Oversee physical and facility security and confidentiality of documents.
• Review security-related incidents and emergency planning contingencies.

Your Contribution

The Maintenance, Facilities and Security Manager coordinates and manages the operational activities, programs, functions, services, and budget for manufacturing assets and facilities maintenance including technical and cost/benefit justification.

• Responsible for preventative maintenance and repair costs for facility equipment
• Analyze manufacturing efficiency issues and conduct problem solving corrective action
• Responsible for current and future facility expansion/modification and ensure activities are successfully implemented
• Support Manufacturing staff in product launch activities (MOP, Service Agreements, Facility Requirements).
• Responsible for efficient use of necessary spare parts and budget requirements and assure appropriate stock levels.
• Organize, coordinate, and lead the maintenance activities in support of the Plant Operations, including production equipment and plant Support Emergency Planning/Contingency Plan.
• Responsible for environment and waste management controls, in accordance with planned ISO-14001 procedures and work instructions.
• Physical Security for employees and property protections
• Facility Security as well as confidentiality of documents and information
• Support and review of security related incidents
• Emergency Planning/Contingency Plan

Your Experience & Qualifications
