Alter Metal Recycling is seeking a Maintenance Person in Eau Claire, WI. The role offers flexible schedules and both part-time and full-time options with hourly pay of $30.00 to $35.00. You will perform preventive and reactive maintenance, welding and fabrication on equipment, and help manage tools and parts. Physical lifting and safety are required.

The position emphasizes a hands-on approach in a metal recycling environment with opportunities to learn and grow within a safety-conscious team.

Qualifications

• Maintain equipment with proactive and reactive maintenance.
• Welding and fabrication on stationary and mobile equipment.
• Inspect inventory of tools and supplies.
• Perform repairs, setup, adjustment and lubrication tasks.
• Lift 30–50 pounds and work in various environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment with proactive and reactive maintenance and repairs.
