Job summary

Heritage Grocers Group construction and maintenance expeditor role seeks a professional to assist the department manager in improving equipment reliability and overall operations productivity. You will ensure equipment effectiveness to service customers while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The position requires 1–3 years in construction/maintenance, CMMS and SAP experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; bilingual Spanish-English preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in construction and maintenance departments.
• Retail Store Operations or Retail Store Support for Supermarkets.
• Bilingual: Spanish and English preferred.
• Experience with CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) and SAP.
• Competence to effectively maneuver Microsoft Office.
• Attentiveness to diligence and discipline to maintain data integrity.

• Dispatch technicians and vendors.
• Open and close tickets.
• Material payments.
• Credit Card reports.
• Manage all open work orders.
• Weekly exterior lighting reports.
• Free-on monthly reports.
• Special requests.
• Work collaboratively with other departments.
• Cover reception area by greeting and directing guests visiting the corporate office (Itasca, IL office only).
• Other duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Construction and Maintenance Expeditor will work with the department manager in assistance to measurably improve equipment and process reliability, and ultimately enhance operations productivity. This person will ensure the effectiveness of all equipment to service our customers while maintaining high standards in quality and safety.

• Dispatch technicians and vendors
• Open and close tickets
• Material payments
• Credit Card reports
• Manager all open work orders
• Weekly exterior lighting reports

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
