The Maintenance Engineering Technician position at the Des Moines, Iowa plant is a multi-craft position that requires a working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic (PLC). This position provides emergency and routine maintenance support to the operations departments in an industrial/automated environment.
Qualified candidates will be required to pass a written technical skill assessment and undergo a one-on‑one technical interview.
Candidates must have flexibility to work either an 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shift on either a day or night shift. Shift preference is based on seniority, therefore we cannot guarantee a specific shift.
Teammates must be able to work a shift schedule with 48 hours one week and 36 hours the next week. The shift pattern requires candidates to work every other weekend.
