Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. in Des Moines is seeking Manufacturing Production Workers to set up, operate, maintain and troubleshoot production equipment in a non-management role.

Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing or production is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Operate machine tool, chemical processing, assembly, or packaging equipment to manufacture products according to production specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards
  • Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods
  • Monitor the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products
  • Maintain accurate daily production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Summary Manufacturing Production Workers focus on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production (i.e., machining, processing, assembly, or packaging) equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Operating machine tool, chemical processing, assembly, or packaging equipment to manufacture products according to production specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards
  • Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods
  • Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products
