Trinseo is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support the maintenance department by monitoring equipment and providing solutions to keep plant operations at peak performance.

The role requires independent work, interaction with contractors, and the ability to travel as needed. The successful candidate will troubleshoot issues, define project scope, and contribute to capital projects under the Engineering and Maintenance Manager.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in a chemical or plastics manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record improving on-stream time and reducing costs.
• Experience with MVP One CMMS and process troubleshooting.

Aufgaben

• Support maintenance manager and team with engineering expertise.
• Upgrade obsolete or end-of-life equipment with cost estimates.
• Develop specs, CAD drawings, and solicit vendor proposals.
• Create budgets and manage maintenance and capital expenditures.
• Provide detailed troubleshooting to increase equipment uptime.
• Identify and source vendors, fabricators, and contractors as needed.
• Contribute to preventive maintenance and mechanical integrity programs.
• Perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
