Job summary

Albertsons Safeway is seeking a Maintenance Engineer at the Bellevue, WA plant. The role covers preventive maintenance, TPM/RCM driven tasks, and coordination of repair work to support production and warehouse operations.

Responsibilities include completing PMs, repairing equipment, data entry, and adherence to GMP and safety policies. The position requires flexibility for swing shifts and a commitment to safety and quality in a union environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with preventive maintenance programs in a manufacturing/food processing setting.
• Ability to plan, organize and coordinate daily activities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to coordinate with peers and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks as scheduled under TPM/RCM programs.
• Complete work orders and summary reports accurately.
• Perform emergency repairs as needed to minimize downtime.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of maintenance areas.
• Follow SOPs and regulatory safety requirements.
• Interface with internal/external customers and manage working relationships.
