Job summary

Park Hyatt Beaver Creek is looking for a General Maintenance Engineer with painter/carpenter experience to join our engineering team in Beaver Creek, CO. This full-time, hourly role offers hands-on building maintenance across interiors and exteriors in a luxury resort environment.

You will perform scheduled and ad-hoc maintenance tasks, manage carpentry and painting activities, assist guests, and support seasonal operations including snow removal. Competitive pay reflects experience.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year building maintenance experience is required.
• Carpentry and/or painting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, corrective, and project-based maintenance to preserve safety, functionality, and appearance.
• Complete work orders involving interior and exterior painting, drywall repair, wallpaper and vinyl wall covering installation, staining and finishing, tile repair, carpentry, cabinet making, woodworking, furniture repair, framing, door repairs, and other general building repairs.
• Assist with guest requests, public areas and guest room preventative maintenance, and routine engineering assignments to ensure a high-quality guest experience.
• Maintain carpentry and paint shops by organizing tools, equipment, materials, and inventory while adhering to safety standards.
• Support seasonal operations, including snow removal, and collaborate with the Engineering team to complete special projects and respond to operational maintenance needs.
