Kiewit Offshore Services in Ingleside, TX is seeking a Maintenance Engineer II to join the facilities team, supporting the maintenance and reliable operation of manufacturing equipment, systems and facilities.

As an Engineer II, you will be a job-site leader in health and safety, ensuring quality of reporting and workmanship, and that all engineering work is completed in a professional and ethical manner, while coordinating with production and vendors.

District Overview

Kiewit Offshore Services, a district (or business unit) of Kiewit Corporation that builds structurally complex jackets and topsides for offshore oil drilling rigs. Located in Ingleside, TX, 20 minutes outside of Corpus Christi, the 550-acre fabrication yard is the workplace of 300 staff employees and 1400 craft employees who work in the yard year-round. This position is located at Kiewit's Offshore Services (KOS) yard in Ingleside, TX.

Responsibilities

• Support daily maintenance and reliability of manufacturing equipment and production systems.
• Develop and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Troubleshoot equipment downtime and recurring production issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and uptime.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with production, operations, and vendors.
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with plant safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing, production, or plant maintenance environment.
• Experience with preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with CMMS systems and continuous improvement practices is a plus.
• Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative
• Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time
• Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
• Passion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurt
