Job summary

Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to uphold the resort's high standards for mechanical and electrical systems. You will perform maintenance, repair, and installation tasks and manage preventive maintenance schedules to ensure safety and reliability.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in hospitality maintenance, with HVAC/plumbing/electrical skills, strong communication, and a proactive problem-solving approach.

Qualifications

• Experience of 2-5 years in hotel/resort maintenance environment.
• HVAC or plumbing or electrical skills.
• Light carpentry and knowledge of paint and wallpaper.
• Certification in pool operation preferred.
• Meet minimum age requirements.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Preventive maintenance background preferred.
• Read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and install mechanical and electrical systems of the hotel/resort.
