Job summary

Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort seeks a Maintenance Engineer to uphold quality and safety across our luxury hotel. You will maintain, repair, and install mechanical and electrical systems and manage preventive maintenance schedules to prevent downtime.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in hotel or resort maintenance, knowledge of HVAC, plumbing or electrical work, light carpentry, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience of 2–5 years in hotel/resort maintenance.
• HVAC, plumbing or electrical skills.
• Light carpentry and painting knowledge.
• Pool operation certification preferred.
• English fluency and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and install mechanical and electrical systems.
• Manage preventive maintenance schedules for the hotel.
• Identify and solve equipment issues promptly.
• Communicate effectively with other team members.

Overview

Join our team as a Maintenance Engineer and help us maintain the highest standards of quality and safety at our luxurious hotel/resort! As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of our hotel's mechanical and electrical systems, as well as managing preventive maintenance schedules. The ideal candidate will have a passion for solving problems, a commitment to excellence, and a desire to make a difference. Qualifications

• Experience of 2-5 years preferred in hotel, resort, commercial or institutional maintenance environment.
• HVAC or plumbing or electrical skills.

• Meet minimum age requirements of jurisdiction.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license preferred.
