Job summary

General Dynamics Land Systems is seeking an experienced maintenance engineer to lead development of maintenance concepts, LSAR data, and publications for Stryker programs. You will coordinate with design engineers and IPTs to ensure logistics and maintainability across programs.

The role requires hands-on ground vehicle maintenance experience, knowledge of Stryker designs and MIL-STD-1388-2B/GEIA-STD-0007, and proficiency with Teamcenter and CAD tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in logistics/engineering/business fields.
• Hands-on maintenance experience on ground combat vehicles.
• Knowledge of Stryker vehicle designs and current platforms.
• Familiarity with MIL-STD-1388-2B and GEIA-STD-0007.
• Experience with LSA/LSAR and SlicWave required.
• Knowledge of STTE and Army logistics structure.
• Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficient with MS Office and CAD/analysis tools (Teamcenter, CREO/PRO-E, Product View).
• Understanding of engineering design reviews and maintenance artifacts (FMECA, MTL, RCM).
• Knowledge of Validation/Verification processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop contract deliverables on or below budget and ahead of schedule.
• Interface with design engineers and IPTs to address maintenance issues.
• Perform supportability and maintenance task analysis.
• Review drawings, CRs, ECPs, models to identify maintenance needs.
• Maintain LSAR per GEIA-STD-0007 and MIL-STD-1388-2B.
• Produce maintenance source data for manuals, MWOs, NMWRs, publications.
• Assess design requirements for supportability improvements.
• Conduct detailed task analyses for LSAR processes.
• Document results in LSAR database.
• Translate technical info into source data for ILS products.
• Support ILS developers with source data and validation efforts.
• Support field tests and incident close-out reports.
• Respond to customer/internal inquiries with reports and materials.
