Job summary

Drift Nashville is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to uphold guest spaces, rooms, and back-of-house areas. The role focuses on proactive maintenance, quick problem solving, and collaboration with hotel teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities include servicing plumbing, electrical, HVAC and other systems, performing inspections, and supporting capital upgrades. A proactive, team-oriented professional with strong reliability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance, engineering, facilities, or building operations experience.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical systems, and general upkeep.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and identify practical solutions.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance throughout the hotel and grounds.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical, and general building systems.
• Respond to guest and team member maintenance requests promptly.
• Complete routine inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
• Paint, carpentry, drywall, and general repair tasks as needed.
• Maintain pool, spa, and outdoor areas.
• Assist with property improvement projects and capital upgrades.
• Support room turns and ensure rooms meet brand standards.
• Assist with furniture, fixture, and equipment installations and repairs.
• Maintain maintenance logs and work orders.
