Qualifications
- Previous maintenance, engineering, facilities, or building operations experience.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical systems, and general building maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and identify practical solutions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable attendance and a positive, team‑oriented attitude.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance throughout the hotel and grounds.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical, and general building systems.
- Respond to guest and team member maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Complete routine inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of‑house areas.
- Perform painting, carpentry, drywall, and general repair work as needed.
- Maintain pool, spa, and outdoor areas as assigned.
- Assist with property improvement projects and capital upgrades.
- Support room turns and ensure guest rooms meet brand standards.
- Assist with furniture, fixture, and equipment installations and repairs.
- Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and preventative maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when necessary.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Identify and address potential safety hazards.
- Ensure compliance with applicable building, fire, and safety regulations.
- Participate in emergency response and property preparedness efforts as needed.
