Job summary

Qualifications

• City of Tacoma Chief Operating Engineer License is required.
• Minimum four years experience in at least one major building trade: Electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or commercial carpentry.
• Valid Washington State Driver's License and clean driving record.

Position Summary

The Maintenance Engineer III is an entry level opportunity on our Facility Operations team. In this role, you will ensure MultiCare patients and families have the best possible experience when visiting facilities across our health system.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate routine malfunctioning conditions, initiate and perform repairs
• Install mechanical and electrical equipment in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operational manuals, and manufacturers\' specifications
• Perform routine preventive maintenance

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; or three to six (3-6) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must possess a City of Tacoma Chief Operating Engineer License
• Minimum four (4) years experience in at least one major building trade: Electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or commercial carpentry
• Current Washington State Driver\'s License; and proof of a safe driving record (meets established MHS Standards) via motor vehicle report from the appropriate state

Pay and benefits: We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. The pay scale is $34.48 - $46.40 USD and is influenced by factors such as skill set, experience, and certifications/education.
