Job summary

Honeywell INC. in Boyne City, MI seeks a Maintenance Engineer I to ensure reliability and efficiency of manufacturing equipment.

You will implement maintenance programs, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and drive continuous improvement on-site under the Maintenance Manager. You will perform routine maintenance, address CNC and manual mills and lathes issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to boost productivity and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance engineering or a related role within a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair techniques
• Proficiency with maintenance management systems and tools for scheduling and tracking maintenance activities
• Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards relevant to manufacturing facilities

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal operation and minimize downtime
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system issues to maintain production flow. Specifically but not limited CNC & Manual Mills and lathes, & test panels
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement projects and enhance equipment reliability
